The Brief
The timber screening of the pergola was discoloured and rotting. Green Fox Metals was tasked to design new screening that retained the house aesthetic, increased the longevity of the pergola and decreased house maintenance.
Our Response
Green Fox Metals constructed a steel frame around the pergola to offer strength to the design. We then fabricated and attached wall and roof modular aluminium slats for screening made with Knotwood aluminium. Knotwood aluminium is an Australian made product, the range have timber finishes that can be matched to most timber profiles, It needs no staining, doesn't fade or warp and comes with a 15 year manufacturers warranty.
